Herd Builders

We believe a heifer who does well in the show ring is really only worth what she can do at home. Each of our females have proven themselves both at shows and in our pastures as easy keepers, good milkers and great mothers.

Sire: Built Right
Dam: Drake Lilo

This spectacular cow was the beginning of our love for the Simmental breed. Born in spring of 2007, this is the first heifer we purchased to begin Rebekah's showing career. Sired by Built Right, this smooth shouldered, perfect uttered cow is the foundation of our herd. She showed very well, placing 3rd overall pair at the National Junior Show in Iowa in 2010. Since that time many years ago she has provided us with several phenomenal females who are worth more than their weight in gold to us. Just take a look at them below!

Tink is a 2009 model sired by Hooks Pacesetter. She herself held a successful show career, but has really proven herself as a cow by producing our top weaning calves every year. We have several daughters in production in our herd out of her, but her true worth is in her bulls!

Bell is another amazing offspring, granddaughter, of Bling. Bell is sired by Upgrade, and she herself was 7th overall Bred and Owned heifer at the 2015 Junior Nationals in TX. Bell’s first calf, Devious, is a fabulous One Eyed Jack heifer who was sold at our Fall Harvest sale as a sale highlight. Her Optimizer bull is phenomenal! He will be offered for sale Fall 18

Faith is sired by Cut Above (better known as Fat Butt), and again a Bling daughter that has taken her share of banners. Just like her dam, she went on to win Champion Pair in both the open and junior show at our big regional show, Ozark Empire Fair in 2015. But like her dam, her best side is in production at home! She has produced great bulls and heifers! We have a daughter in our herd currently in production!

Grace is such a great cow, we have actually been using her as a recip! She takes an embryo each time, because she is so fertile! Grace has given us several natural calves also, but never a heifer. The fertility of this cow line is AMAZING! She is sired by Grandmaster, and more moderate in size.

Brianna is sired by a Steel Force son, FSSR Steel Fire and out of Faith. Brianna had a successful show career, and last year gave us her first calf; a cherry red, blazed face bull! This year her Optimizer heifer calf is looking Sweet! We expect great things from this cow, considering her bloodlines are royal with Fat Butt, Built Right, and Steel Force.

Sire: DCMM Bullet
Dam: HDCC Meyers Who

Cookie is a newer addition to our herd, and will likely go into the donor pen. Cookie had a successful show career not only as a heifer, but went on to win Champion Pair at our big district fair, Ozark Empire Fair. Cookie is just three years old, and has raised two outstanding bull calves and ready to drop her third calf before the end of the year. Cookie’s sire is a full brother to W/C Loaded Up, and her dam is a Meyer 734 x Who cow. Her pedigree is a little different, but we love it… and her!

Gem is a 3/4 blood cow that hits a home run with each calf she has raised. She is a bull maker, and has only ever given us one heifer (which we sold as a bred, and now I wish we would have kept!). Look at a picture of her son.... WOW! He is pictured at 12 months and over 1300 pounds! His sire is HPF Optimizer.

FSSR Queen Elsa

ASA# 2672842

Sire: Steel Force
Dam: REN Extra Nice

Elsa is another cow that will reside here forever due to her genetic imprint she has made here. Her first calf, sired by Optimizer, went on to place 19th Bred and Owned Heifer in Iowa in 2015 at Junior Nationals, along with numerous other awards. Pictured is her son, sired by American Pride, as a 12 month old. Also pictured, her daughter, Windy, sired by HPF Optimizer. 19th overall in Iowa.
